SAMES was contracted by the Weslaco Economic Development Corporation to provide professional surveying, development and engineering services for the proposed subdivision of a 161.8 Acre tract of land located at the northeast intersection of FM 1015 & Mile 9 near Weslaco, TX.
The tract will be subdivided into two (2) phases, Phase I (93.13 Ac.) and Phase II (68.67 Ac.) to be used for industrial and commercial use. The intent is to organize the subdivision with a commercial zone for retail stores along FM 1015 with an industrial zone located to the east. A grand entrance is planned between the commercial zone off FM 1015 that leads into the industrial business park on the west side of the property. When complete, future buildings within the industrial park will portray 3 probable styles of architecture which include Industrial Architecture, Spanish Colonial Architecture, and Spanish Ranch Architecture. Landscape sound buffers and pedestrian and biking thoroughfares are also planned along the south property fronting Mile 9 Road.
