SAMES was retained by Edinburg School District to provide surveying, design and construction administration services for a new visitors parking lot and the reconstruction of existing pavement for BL Garza Middle School.
SAMES provided both conventional topographic and drone topographic surveying services, established horizontal and vertical control, submitted schematic design plans for owner review and “approved for construction” plans and specifications. SAMES coordinated the advertising and bid procurement process with the school district, prepared bid tabulations and issued recommendation for award.
During construction SAMES assisted the school district with construction administration services consisting of material submittal reviews, responding to contractor requests for information, processing payment applications, and conducting periodic site visits to document construction progress which was later submitted to the school district via monthly status reports.
