This project was a multi-phase project that involved the design of a new two-lane roadway including curb and gutters that replaced a gravel road in Starr County. The project also included the design of a storm drain facility and the design of several utilities that required adjustment. AASHTO guidelines for vertical curves were followed in the design process due to the steep terrain in this region of Starr County.
Scope of work included planning and coordination, topographical surveying, preliminary design and schematics, hydrology analysis and hydraulics design, budget analysis, scheduling, preparation of construction plans and specifications, and construction management services.
